Weekend Recap

Friday afternoon, after Daniel got out of school we packed some jackets and kids in the car and met Dave for an afternoon of fun at Disneyland. We had to make a quick pit stop so that Daddy could do some actual work, and then the playing began.

Our first stop was to "Small World" since it had was newly opened on our last visit, and the lines were too long for our taste. Unfortunately it was closed, as they are in the process of taking down all the Christmas decos, and getting it ready for the new year. Next trip I guess.

So at Josh's request we went into Toon Town. I honestly can't remember the last time I was in there, but it was so fun. We pushed all the silly buttons, rode the cute little rides, and even had a pciture with Mickey.

We made it a short night, did a few big kid rides, and home we went.

Saturday, the kids had a Primary Activity at church at 8:30am. It was a pajama breakfast, and meet your teacher day. Can you believe I have all three boys in Primary, and Natalie will start Nursery in a few short months. I feel so old.

After the breakfast we came home and did some cleaning and chores, spent a few hours on the garage (oh the hours it will need) and then back in the car to run lots and lots of errands. From Costco to Big 5, and even a jaunt up to Traveland to look at ten trailers. By the time we got home mommy and daddy were exhausted, and so we enjoyed a wonderful movie night. I loved looking at the couch to see all four kids snuggled up together staring at the movie. So much fun!!

Sunday was so enjoyable, and I am loving the later hour. We had a great morning, then we made it to church on time with everyone in tow. Church was great, and then a relaxing afternoon evening (even though the Chargers lost..boo)

So that's our weekend recap, I have to get some zz's so I can wake up super early for my boot camp at 5:30am..ouch

How fun that you can go to Disneyland so often! We have the same situation in our garage. Actually (without seeing yours), I'd dare say we have the worst in the family. Joe and his tools!

So how was your boot camp this morning? You are such a "trooper" to get up and going so early!
